Susan B's

I know these are just cheap nichol clad copper but isn't it strange that theres a decrepit old woman and an eagle with a broken wing on opposing sides of this particular dollar coin? Just making a drunken observation at 6:50 in the morning. Why would the US mint produce something like this beyond pure symbolism? Are they telling us back in 1979 that our currency is gimped?

Just a thought any way. I have 60 or so dollars of susan Bs along with about 120 or so sacajeweaws. chillin in a bag. Just thought it was worth noting if it hasen't been noted before.

Like I said Drunken morning observations while playing with my money.

Hey Pizzaman, you might consider investing them in a case a Makers Mark, a Ky. bourbon. This is the real stuff and would give a better head than holding those fiat dollar junk coins IMO. :coolbeer: :coolbeer:

In the fiat hierarchy I put them above the Washington Dollar simply because you can't burn them.

Other than that... someday in the near future Susan B's
will probably be as worthless as tits on a boar! :haha:

We can drill holes in them and use them as washers. The copper-nickel alloy is probably pretty strong.

Some day when the fiat dollar has faded away into worthlessness and I'm living in a cardboard box because the bankers have repossessed my home, I'll use them to reinforce the grommets on my tarp roof...

All drunken observations are preferable to any form of vehicular operation, dont be dismayed by a lack of brain wave activity. If youre wise enough not to be driving while blind youre quite capable of posting something that can be pondered. Next time I tie one on, if I can remember, Ill look over a Susan B and get back to you.
